Intensive Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Power Across Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have faced increased strikes in recent weeks

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water systems, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a young boy was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Russian forces has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in supplying protection systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a online statement.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 rockets attacked energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A young boy lost their life and multiple civilians were wounded.

The attacks succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the region, portions of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The entire country is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to detect.

Government officials told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already impacting fuel infrastructure.

He said technical personnel and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
